This blog is all about my grandfather. Who passed away on August 18, 2009 1:30 PM. Sadly, he was a victim of cancer. i remember all the times we shared. my cousin, him, and i were close. and we still are. even through death. i am sad that i did not get to stay next to him till his last breath. he kept our family together and was the inspiration of the the little ones like my cousin, sister, nephews, and myself. i remember all the times i would spend with him. those times are some of my greatest memories. The picture above was from his birthday on June 4. june 4 is the same day of my cousins birthday. it was really special but also really sad. at least there is one thing i know. wherever i go, he will always be there for me. why? because when i was little i asked him who is my guardian angel? he answered that he was. i feel safe and i promise to be an inspiration to others. i know it will not be the same as to when he was alive. but at least i know that he will be there for me. in time, i will see him again. but right now i'm filled with sadness...
Me: Tatay, what is a guardian angel?
Tatay: It is the person that is always watching you, keeping you safe, and making sure your being good.
Me:Oh I see... well then who is mines?
Tatay: I am!
Me: yay. i'm happy you will always be there for me.
